Decatur County Journal

July 23, l903

The Methodist Parsonage, Decatur, Iowa, was the scene of a quiet and

happy wedding, July 20, l903. The contracting parties were MISS ALMA

GRACE RAUCH, daughter of MR. and MRS. JAS. RAUCH, and MR. FRED W.

TROWER, son of MR. and MRS. R.R. TROWER, both of Grand River Township.

Promptly at four o'clock the happy couple clasped hands and responded to

the beautiful marriage ceremony of the Methodist Episcopal Church,

pronounced by Rev. F.B. Scoggan, and in a few brief moments they were

made husband and wife.

MR. and MRS. TROWER are two of the most esteemed young people of Grand

River Township and many friends join in wishing them a long and happy

wedded life. They will soon begin housekeeping near the old home where

MR. TROWER is engaged in farming.
