Decatur County Journal

January 24, l900

At the Methodist parsonage in Arlington last Sunday evening MR. W.A.

TREMBLY and MISS MOLLIE FOSTER, both of Grapevine, were quietly united

in the holy bonds of matrimony. Bro. Curry officiated in his usual

impressive manner. This was not a runaway but it seems the young couple

took snap judgment on their Grapevine friends.

The bride is the charming young daughter of Rev. L.H. FOSTER. The groom

is the handsome and enterprising young proprietor of the tonsorial

parlor known as the City Barber Shop. MR. TREMBLY is well and favorably

known in and around our little city. In fact, both bride and groom have

a host of friends who we know wish them a long, happy and prosperous

life. The happy couple were the recipients of many valuable and useful

presents.

The Sun extends its congratulations and hopes as time passes the golden

chain of love which unite these young hearts may grow stronger and

stronger; that nothing may come up to mar their happiness. May their

voyage on the matrimonial sea by one of unalloyed joy.
