At the residence of Royal Richardson in Pleasanton at high noon yesterday, occurred the marriage of SUEL F. SHAW to MISS FANNIE COVINGTON. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A.H. Rusk of Davis City, was witnessed by about sixty guests from Leon, Garden Grove, Van Wert, Grand River and Pleasanton.

Promptly at the appointed hour, Mrs. Lucy Keshlear, presiding at the organ, played the first sweet strains of Clayton's wedding march and T.R. Barr, groomsman, and Miss Blanche Willis, bridesmaid, preceded the contracting couple into the spacious parlors where in impressive language the officiating clergyman pronounced them man and wife.

After congratulations, an elegant wedding repast was partaken of and the bride and groom presented with many beautiful and useful tokens of regard. MR. SHAW is the accommodating and efficient assistant cashier of the bank of Pleasanton and during his more than two years residence in that little city has made numerous and lasting friends, having worked persistently for the advancement and upbuilding of the town and the institution with which he is connected. MRS. SHAW is the beautiful and accomplished daughter of MRS. MARY COVINGTON and is well known in Leon where she acquired part of the ample education which so well fitted her for the profession of teaching.

As soon as the weather will permit, MR. SHAW will erect a fine dwelling in Pleasanton, the newly married couple in the meantime occupying rooms at the residence of Royal Richardson.
