MISS MYRTLE RAVEN and MR. ALLIE SCHOENERT were united in marriage
Wednesday evening, December 27, Rev. Frederick W. Long, Pastor of the
First Congregational Church, performing the ceremony. The wedding took
place at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. I. RAVEN, 352
Ohio Street, at five o'clock, about twenty or twenty-five relatives and
most intimate friends of the contracting parties being present.
The ceremony used was the popular ring ceremony, the couple marching
into the parlor, where the nuptial knot was tied, to the air of the
Lohengren wedding march. There were no attendants. After the ceremony,
the guests sat down to a most sumptuous wedding dinner. The
presents received were many and costly.
MR. and MRS. SCHOENERT will not take a trip at present but will go right
to housekeeping, being at home to their friends at the corner of
Colorado and First after January l. The world and many other friends
extend congratulations.
MR. SCHOENERT is at present employed at the Tams Furniture Store and is
a young man possessing many friends in this city. He is the eldest son
of Prof. and MRS. SCHOENERT and inherits much musical ability from his
father, having spent several years with some of the larger opera
companies on the road. The bride has lived in the city since childhood
and has a great many friends. She is a young lady possessing many
enviable attainments.
