On Monday, February 27, l905, at Bedford, Iowa, occurred the marriage of

MISS EVA DYE and MR. F.L. SAMSON. MISS DYE is a daughter of H.D. DYE

for some years a member of the board of supervisors, but now living at

Humeston, having retired from active life. MR. SAMSON is a son of REV.

SETH SAMSON of Van Wert, thus uniting two of Decatur County's prominent

families.

The bride has been for some years one of Decatur County's most

successful teachers and through the value of services rendered,

together, with lovable qualities of mind and heart, made many warm

friends who will wish for her, all the happiness of which she is

worthy. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. W.B. Thompson,

Pastor of the M.E. Church of Bedford, at the parsonage.

The bride was attired in a handsome navy blue broadcloth traveling suit

with silk embroidered trimmings and the groom in conventional black.

They left at once for their new home which is in readiness for them and

is located near Manhattan, the seat of the State University, of Kansas.
