A quiet wedding but one of great interest to a large circle of friends,

was that of MISS ALICE LAFOLLETTE and MR. EDWARD A. PACE, which took

place last Thursday afternoon at the home of MRS. I.A. HEBENER, Elder H.

H. Hubbell officiating. The witnesses were MARY LAFOLLETTE and EMMA

CROUSE.

The bride is the daughter of Ex-Sheriff GEO. W. LAFOLLETTE and was

reared to young womanhood in Decatur County. The writer has known

ALICE all her life and she is a young lady of many accomplishments. She

will prove a worthy helpmate to her husband.

The groom has lived in our county practically all his life. He is a

worthy young man, of industrious habits and good character. He has a

good position with the Standard Oil Co.

The worthy young couple will reside with MR. and MRS. G.W. LAFOLLETTE.

The JOURNAL joins their many friends in extending congratulations and

best wishes.
