Newspaper article:

Two of Pleasanton's most popular young people were married at Osceola Monday morning [April 3, 1916] by Rev. TICE, pastor of the Osceola Presbyterian church, the contracting parties being Mr. LEON OVERTON and Miss OLIVE ESTES. They were accompanied in an auto to Osceola by Mr. and Mrs. OREL ESTES, of Leon, who witnessed the ceremony, after which they returned to Leon and spent the day, going to Pleasanton Tuesday where they will make their home. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. ESTES and is a beautiful and charming young lady. The groom is one of the industrious and upright young men of Pleasanton, and a host of warm friends extend their hearty congratulations to this worthy young couple and trust that their voyage through life together may all be sunshine.
