Married, at the home of Frank John in Franklin Township on the l5th day

of Feb., Rev. S. Samson officiating, JOHN C. OVERHOLTZER of Franklin

Township and MISS EUNICE L. VARNER. The bride is a sister of Mrs. Frank

John, with whom she has been making her home since her arrival from

Ohio, l5 months since. She is an intelligent and accomplished young

lady and is in every way worthy of the young man to whom she was joined

in marriage. The groom is well and favorably known in this community,

brought up in the habit of industry. He is bound to succeed; he has an

excellent farm.

After the marriage ceremony, the company was invited into the dining

room where they partook of a feast of good things, after which they

presented to the bride and groom a fine lot of presents.

Among the donors appears the names of S. Overholtzer and wife, Frank

John and wife, Grant John and wife, W.P. Clark, Mr. Evans and wife. The

whole affair passed off very pleasantly. L. Overholtzer and Miss Frost

were waiters. Miss Overholtzer played the wedding march. All join in

wishing the happy pair the best of success through life.
