At l2 o'clock noon Sunday, January l7, l904, occurred a very pleasant
marriage at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. DAN MYERS, in
Burrell Township, l l/2 miles southwest of Decatur City; Rev. Heckathorn
officiating. The contracting parties were MR. FRED M. MILLSAP and MISS
ANNA M. MYERS.
Promptly at noon the bride and groom marched into the parlor to the
strains of the wedding march, played by the bride's cousin, Miss Nora
Gardner, in the presence of about fifty guests, all being relatives of
the contracting parties. After the ceremony and congratulations, the
guests surrounded the table and were served with a sumptuous dinner.
The afternoon was passed in social conversation, enlivened by some fine

The bride was beautifully gowned in light blue serge trimmed in white
taffeta and ribbon, while the groom wore the conventional black. The
happy couple were the recipients of many useful and valuable gifts.
A GUEST.
