JAMES MICKELSON and MISS MILDRED OLIVE AVERY were married at the bride's
home Thanksgiving evening at 5 o'clock, Rev. W.H. Ilsley officiating.
The wedding was a quiet little affair, only the members of the immediate
family and two or three of the bride's most intimate friends being
present.
After the ceremony, a wedding supper was served at small tables, that of
the bridal party being prettily decorated with flowers and festoons of
green and illuminated with fancy candles.
The party left for Chariton on the 8:l5 train. From there they go to
Omaha, Denver and Salt Lake City, spending several days in each place
and reaching their home in Big Piney, Wyo. in about two weeks. MRS.
MICKELSON will be greatly missed in Leon, having spent her life here,
and being a great favorite among all our people. Her husband is a
prosperous ranchman and an extensive shipper of stock. The
congratulations and good wishes of a host of friends follow them to
their new home.
