S.A. MCFARLAND, of Weldon, and MISS MYRTLE WELLS, were quietly married

at the home of the bride's parents in Douglas, Ill., on Wednesday of

last week. The happy couple arrived at the groom's home near Weldon on

Friday. The bride is a very popular young lady and will be greatly

missed at her old home. The groom is a promising young man, the only

son of MR. and MRS. C. MCFARLAND.

The latter couple will move into the Hogue property they recently

purchased in Weldon, while the young people will occupy the farm.
