Another vacancy has occurred in the ranks of our young people, and

another happy couple has entered upon what promises to be a most

enjoyable wedded life. At the home of C.W. Hoffman, on Tuesday evening,

occurred the wedding of EDWARD H. LAWRENCE and MISS JENNIE H. PARRISH,

Rev. W.H. Ilsley performing the ceremony. The bridal company was not

large, consisting only of relatives of the contracting parties, but the

bride and groom received most cordial greetings as they entered upon

their new relation.

After the ceremony, the wedding dinner was served and later the newly

wedded pair took the train for Chariton, their future home. MR. and

MRS. LAWRENCE are well known here, and a host of friends join in

congratulations and good wishes for their future. A large number of

friends met them at the depot, provided with an abundant supply of rice

and other things appropriate for the occasion, giving them a lively send

off.
