Married at the residence of the bride's mother, MRS. JACOB CASTER in

Center Township on Tuesday evening, March l3, l900, MR. EDWARD JOHNSTON

and MATTIE E. CASTER. Promptly as the clock struck seven the bride and

groom took their place before the altar and were united in marriage by

Rev. Kob of Garden Grove. The wedding party to the number of

thirty-four then repaired to the dining room where they did ample

justice to the many good things which Aunt Katie knows so well how to

prepare.

Among the many presents received were some from Indiana and California.

The bride is a young lady of excellent worth and is well and favorably

known.

MR. JOHNSTON is a resident of Morgan Township and has been a school

teacher for several years. They will reside on the groom's farm in

Woodland Township. Their many friends extend congratulations to the

happy couple.
