The social circles of our city were somewhat surprised by the

announcement of the marriage of one of our citizens, G.W. JENREE to

MARIA J. DAVIS of Van Wert.

GILBERT W. JENREE and MARIA JANE DAVIS were married Sunday afternoon at

Weldon by Rev. Geo. E. Lyon. The happy couple returned to their home in

Leon, Tuesday and were received by their many friends. Prof. O.C.

Clark, with his parlor orchestra, serenaded the bride and groom in the

evening with some very select music.
