MISS EMMA, daughter of MR. and MRS. F.F. BEDIER of this city, was

married at Red Cliff, Colo., on Sunday, September 5, to MR. GEORGE

HARDENBURG.

The announcement comes in the nature of a surprise to MISS EMMA's

friends in Leon. She is well and favorably known here, being a graduate

of the Leon Schools and is an exceptionally bright and vivacious young

lady. Last year she was a teacher in the schools at Minturn, Colo.,

where MR. HARDENBURG met and wooed her.

The groom is an engineer on the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad and he is

to be congratulated on securing so charming a helpmate. They will make

their home at Minturn, where MRS. HARDENBURG went this summer to visit

her sister, MRS. HENRY FAHRIMEYER.

Leon friends send best wishes for future happiness.
