and MISS NELLIE SUTHERLIN, of Burrell Township were united in the bonds

of holy matrimony as husband and wife by Rev. George E. Mitchell, of

Weldon, using the beautiful ring service of the M.E. Church. Mrs. Lena

Halstead played the wedding march while the bride and groom took their

place under the beautiful arch and in the presence of l20 guests the

congratulations, a four course supper was served. A fine and costly lot

of presents were given to the happy pair.

MR. and MRS. SUTHERLIN understand the art of making their guests feel

free and cheerful as all seemed to enjoy themselves until the hour of

midnight.

MR. GITHENS is a young man of excellent reputation, at the present time

being in the employ of the C.B. & Q. R.R. Co. MRS. GITHENS is a lady of

high standing in the community where she is known, having taught school
