On Wednesday evening, November 26th, at the home of the bride's parents east of town, occurred one of the prettiest weddings of the season. MR. GEORGE F.S. GARDNER was married to MISS CARRIE L. ALLBAUGH, daughter of MR. and MRS. W.A. ALLBAUGH. The bride was tastefully dressed in white. The wedding march was played by Miss Carrie Redman, to the sweet strains of which the bridal party, consisting of the bride and groom, attended by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bradfield, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chastain, Mr. John Allbaugh and Miss Stella Ford, preceded by the officiating clergyman, Rev. W.H. Ilsley, were ushered to their places. They stood under festoons of flowers and evergreens, while the ceremony, which was the Episcopal service with the wedding ring, was recited.

After the happy pair had received the congratulations of the fifty or more friends who were present, they were ushered into the dining room where refreshments were served. After a very pleasant evening the guests departed, each bearing a choice piece of the bride's cake to dream upon.

MR. GARDNER is the son of MR. FRANK GARDNER, an extensive farmer and stock dealer in Center Township. A new house has been built near the family home where the young couple will soon be at home to their many friends. MRS. GARDNER was a member of the last graduating class of the high school and has a large circle of friends among the young people of the city.
