Decatur County Journal

August 2, l900

At high noon on Wednesday, August last, MR. JAMES G. FRINKBONE of Garden

Grove and MISS ODA MAY RUMLEY were united in marriage at the home of the

bride. The ceremony, which was performed under a cherry tree, on the

lawn, was beautiful in its simplicity, and the words which made them man

and wife were spoken by Rev. Joseph Stephen. The bride is a charming

and attractive young lady, with many qualifications for her new sphere

in life, while the bridegroom is a bright, intelligent and thrifty young

farmer.

After the ceremony and congratulations were over, the wedding guests

were regaled with a sumptuous feast at a well spread table. The dinner

was excellent. This happy young couple were the recipients of many

useful and ornamental presents and they start out in life under sunny

skies with bright prospects and we sincerely wish for them a peaceful,

happy and prosperous life. They will make their future home near Garden

Grove.
