Last evening in the home of MR. and MRS. G.L. DOCKSTADER occurred the
marriage of the latter's sister, MISS ZOLA BRUNER, to MR. WILLIAM H.
BURNETT. About one hundred invitations were issued for the ceremony
which was solemnized at 8 o'clock. Two little girls, MAMIE DOCKSTADER
and RUTH LYON, were at the door to admit the guests. They were received
by MR. and MRS. DOCKSTADER, MR. and MRS. E.J. BRUNER, parents of the
bride, and MISS BURNETT. The house was decorated in a pink and white
color scheme. Carnations were used and a canopy was fashioned of
crabapple blossoms, beneath which the bride and groom stood during the
ceremony. Rev. T.J. Dow officiated. The bride's gown was of white
Paris muslin with lace trimming, and her bouquet of bride's roses.
Following the ceremony, refreshments were served by MISSES ROBINSON,
WOODARD, SANDERS, COMBS, LYON and BRUNER. MISS AKERS played piano
selections during the evening. MRS. CHASTAIN of Leon, sister of the
bride, was among the guests. MR. and MRS. BURNETT will be at home after
May lst at l206 Buchanan Street.
