On Wednesday morning, Nov. 6th at 5 o'clock, the home of JOSHUA CARMEAN

was the scene of a pleasing and interesting event. JAMES RUSH BOWSHER

and MARY ELVINA CARMEAN were united in marriage by the Rev. Joseph

Stephen, in the presence of the immediate relatives. These young people

are well and favorably known in our city. The bridegroom is one of the

most enterprising and active merchants in the town, being a member of

the firm of Bowsher & Biddison; whilst the bride is an excellent young

lady with a host of friends. After the ceremony was over, the guests

were feasted with a splendid wedding breakfast.

With the purpose of spending an extended honeymoon in the beautiful

climate of California, Cupid led them to board the early morning train

and fly to the west. We wish them a peaceful and prosperous voyage over

the ocean of life and extend hearty congratulations.
