On Wednesday evening, May l7, l899, at the bride's home in Decatur City,

occurred the ceremony which united MR. ERNEST BLADES and MISS MYRTLE

FISHER for life. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Newland before a

goodly number of relatives and friends at the home of the bride's

mother. The groom appeared in a conventional black suit and the bride in

a beautiful light blue dress, trimmed in white satin.

After the ceremony a wedding supper was given by the bride's mother,

followed by a few hours passed in social enjoyment. Some very useful

wedding gifts were received.

The young people are highly respected by all who know them. May the

light that now shines so bright around them, continue throughout life's

journey.
