MR. RICHARD LATHROP, of Center Township, and MISS KITTIE BOYD were married at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. J.B. BOYD, in Humeston, Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Cozier.

The groom is a sterling young farmer of Decatur County, an exemplary young man, and he has won a jewel for his bride. MISS KITTIE spent all her life until a few months ago, in this city and we are safe in saying there never was a more popular little lady resided in Leon.

MR. and MRS. LATHROP will make their home with the groom's parents on their farm in Center Township, where a host of warm friends extend hearty congratulations and wish them a long and prosperous journey through life.
