Married at the Davis City M.E. Parsonage at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3, l899, MR. BENJAMIN W. LANNING and MISS MYRTLE E. SWITZER, A.H. Rusk, officiating. MR. and MRS. LANNING are among our best young people and we are glad they will continue to live in Davis City. The Advance is happy to acknowledge the receipt of the samples of the wedding cake and wish success to the young couple.

On Sunday, Nov. 5, l899, about 6:30 o'clock at the M.E. Parsonage, occurred the marriage of BENJ. W. LANNING to MISS MYRTLE SWITZER, Rev. A.H. Rusk officiating. The bride was attired in a blue covert suit, braided and trimmed in satin. The groom was dressed in the conventional black. These young people are well known and popular members of the Davis City society. Both are members of the Davis City Cornet Band, and the bride is an accomplished musician. the groom has lived most of his life in Davis City and is a member of the LANNING MANUFACTURING CO. He is a young man of ability and integrity. The bride has lived in Davis City the past three years and has proved herself to be a very pleasant and estimable young lady. This young couple have many friends in and near this city who join with the Advance in wishing a smooth sail on the sea of life. They will be at home to friends in the Perry Robinson property on Clark Street in a few days.
