MARRIED
JAMES-ROBINSON

At the L.D.S. Church, Independence, Missouri, Wednesday evening, January 16, 1895, by Elder J. A. Robinson, father of the bride, Mr. Orville L. James to Miss Isabel Robinson.

The flower decorations of the church were profuse and elegant. The wedding march was played by Mr. A. H. Mills. The congregation was one of the largest that ever assembled in Independence on such an occasion.

About a hundred and fifty guests sat down to the elegant supper prepared for the occasion. Our thanks are due and hereby extended for samples of the cake.

The list of presents is so long that it is impossible to find room for it. The tokens of good will came from far and near, and were elegant and costly.

We congratulate this happy pair upon their auspicious entrance upon life's journey together; and while it is unreasonable because contrary to all human experience to expect unalloyed happiness we hope they may reach this as nearly as their greatest good will permit.
