Married at the residence of the bride's mother, MRS. JAMES B. ADKINS, in Davis City, Iowa, at 6:30 p.m. June 19, l904, Geo. P. Campbell officiating in the presence of a number of relatives and friends, MR. ELMER B. HUBBIRD, of near Eagleville, Mo., to MISS LILLIAN DALE ADKINS, the only daughter of J.B. ADKINS, lately deceased, and one of Davis City's best young ladies, a graduate from Davis City High School, and afterward a student at Graceland College, Lamoni, and while there she met the groom who has won her for a life companion, and his choice shows he has excellent judgment, for LILLIE, as she was commonly called was raised on a farm near Davis City and is acquainted with farm life, to which her husband will take her, to his beautiful farm home, about three miles northwest of Eagleville, Mo., where they will be at home to their friends after July 1.

This young couple start out on life's journey with bright prospects and the best wishes of their legion of friends for their happiness and success. The groom is a stranger to many in this vicinity but comes highly recommended. We bespeak for them a long and happy life.
