Wedding bells were ringing on Sunday evening, March l7, for MYRTIE LEORIA HOWELL who was married to CLYDE BLAKE YOST at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. JAMES HOWELL, six miles north of Leon.

At 8 o'clock sharp the bridal party descended the stairs and took their places in the front parlor before an arch of drapery. The Rev. Mr. Caldwell, of the M.E. Church of Van Wert, pronounced a beautiful and impressive ceremony. After the many and cheering congratulations were extended, Rev. Caldwell and wife followed by the bride and groom and their nearest relatives, repaired to the dining room where a most delicious supper was served.

The bride was handsomely gowned in silver gray with white silk puffing and applique trimmings, and wore a bouquet of bride's roses. The bride is a favorite in society circles in the vicinity where she resides as well as elsewhere and is a talented musician. She will be greatly missed in the church where she faithfully performed her duties as Sunday School teacher and organist at the Fairview Church. The bride and groom were members of the Leon High School in l896 where the bride acquired part of the ample education which so well fitted her for teaching, of which profession she did not follow having taught but one term.

The groom wore a handsome suit of silver gray. He is a talented, energetic and Christian young farmer, having had the entire control and management of his mother's farm for the past three years and is well worthy of the fair lady of his choice. The Reporter, with a host of friends, join in wishing the happy young couple much happiness and prosperity o'er the rocky sea of life.

MR. and MRS. YOST will be at home to their many friends, two and one half miles south of Leon after April lst.
