HARLAN-PEASLEY. - The prettiest home wedding that ever came to our notice was that in which Mr. Eugene Charles HARLAN of Indianola and Miss Esther Madge PEASLEY were made one. The home of Mr. and Mrs.. W. W. PEASLEY, parents of the bride, was simply decorated with pink and white roses, carnations and ferns. Keith MCCOY of Indianola was best man and Leone PEASLEY was maid of honor.

"Oh Promise Me" sung by Miss Alice PEASLEY, was followed by Lohengrin's wedding march, which ushered in the bridal procession. The bride was accompanied by her father, who gave her away at the altar. The ring marriage service was used, the little sister of the bride carrying the ring in an American Beauty rose. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. E. BROWN.

After congratulations and a dainty three-course lunch, Mr. and Mrs. HARLAN took the evening train for an extended wedding tour in the South and East and will be at home in Indianola after January 1.

The groom is a prominent young business man of Indiana, being connected with the J. M. HARLAN Lumber Co. The bride, who is well known to many Lamoni people, is a daughter of W. W. PEASLEY and wife of Kellerton, and a niece of Mrs. C. F. SMITH of Lamoni.

Mr. and Mrs. Harlan received many valuable presents, and start out together with the brightest of prospects and well equipped for the battle of life.

Among the guests present were Messrs and Mesdames J. R. SMITH, Arthur H. SMITH, Todd NICHOLSON, C. F. SMITH and Maud Waye SMITH of Lamoni.
