A quiet home wedding was solemnized at the home of W.C. GIBSON, eight miles northeast of Leon at noon on Christmas day, the contracting parties being his daughter, MISS AUGUSTA MAY and MR. G.J.C. HENDRICKS of Pocahontas County, the ceremony being performed by Elder H.H. Hubbell, Pastor of the Christian Church, in the presence of the relatives and a few intimate friends.

The bride was born and raised in this vicinity, and graduated from the Leon High School last year. She is a most estimable young lady and in every way fitted to grace a home. The groom is a prosperous young farmer who formerly resided in this county.

MR. and MRS. HENDRICKS departed Monday for Pocahontas County where they will make their home on a farm. Many friends in this county extend heartiest congratulations.
