A delightful wedding occurred last evening at the home of JAMES BOLON, one-half mile west of town. The happy couple was JOHN N. GATES of Leon and MISS GRACE BOLON, second daughter of JAMES BOLON. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G.D. Gurley of Leon.

An elegant supper was served immediately after the tying of the connubial knot, to which all did justice.

MISS GRACE is a native of this county and her kind disposition and winning manners have won for her a host of warm friends in this community, who regret to lose such an esteemable (sic) and accomplished friend.

The groom is also a native of Decatur County. He is a lawyer of no mean ability and for several years practiced in this city, where he made many friends by his strict business habits. He, as a politician, has been very successful, as he is now serving his second term as Clerk of the Courts.

We join with MR. and MRS. GATES' friends in wishing them a life of happiness.
