The marriage of MISS CLARA ELIZABETH FULTON to MR. O.R. ROSS of this city took place at eight o'clock Thursday evening, at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. D.H. FULTON, 5l0 S. Madison Avenue.

The ring service was read by Rev. W. Edward Purdy and the bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Marian Simmons at the piano, played Wagner's "Bridal Chorus", and during the service "To a Wild Rose," by McDowell and Brown's "Love Dreams," Miss Catherine Weeks Lindley sang "At Dawning," by Cadman. The ceremony was performed under a white illuminated arch, covered with flowers, the background being of ferns and palms.

The bride wore a white charmeuse satin gown with silver lace and panels. Her veil was caught with orange blossoms and pearls. She wore a strand of pearls, the groom's gift, and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses.

Mrs. W. Edward Purdy of Panora, Iowa, formerly of Ottumwa, was the matron of honor, and her dress was a combination of silver and orchid crepe. She carried butterfly roses and sweet peas. Little Miss Catherine Purdy, the ring bearer, had on white organdie, tied with lovers' knots. The flower girl, little Miss Faith Davis, wore pink crepe trimmed with white lace.

The bridesmaids were Miss Leone Tullis of this city and Miss Marjorie Piper of Centerville. Mr. ROSS' groomsman was Mr. Harold C. Stocker. Miss Piper wore a charming gown of peach blow crepe, beaded in amber, green and orchid. Her head band was of green and gold leaves and her corsage of sweet peas and butterfly roses. Miss Tullis' gown was of pink canton crepe and georgette with trimmings of ecru lace medallions. Her head band was of silver and her flowers a corsage of sweet peas and butterfly roses.

The bride's gift to the groom was a green and white gold watch chain.

MR. and MRS. ROSS will be at home after June ll at 224 North Schuyler Street.
