On Wednesday, July l7, MR. JOHN FRANKLIN and MISS DORA WEST, both of this city, were married at the residence of the groom's mother at noon, Squire Wood performing the ceremony that made them legally one. Only a few intimate friends were present and enjoyed a beautiful dinner prepared by MRS. FRANKLIN. Quite a number enjoyed ice cream with them in the evening and had a merry time. Some very pretty presents were given the young people, who are well known here. The Advance wishes them happiness and prosperity.
