Married.
FLEMING-THORBURN. Monday evening, July 2, at 8:45, a quiet wedding occurred at the home of Elder James Allen, when Mr. Wallace FLEMING and Miss Jessie THORBURN took upon themselves the vows that united them for life. Elder James ALLEN, grandfather of the bride officiating.
Mr. FLEMING, who is from Burlington, Iowa, is a traveling salesman for the Chittenden and Eastman Furniture Company and is their youngest employee in that capacity. He is a fine young man and enjoys the love and respect of all who know him.
Miss Jessie is the only child of Elder and Mrs. G. W. THORBURN and has many friends wherever she is known. She had said that her wedding should be different than others. It was certainly unique in its plainness for there were only five present, her mother and grandmother being the only witnesses.
The Chronicle joins their many friends in wishing the happy young couple a long and happy life.
