A pretty home wedding occurred at the residence of MRS. EMMA BOWMAN in Davis City yesterday morning, it being the occasion of the marriage of her youngest daughter, EDITH CLAIRE to DR. T.S. DUFF, of Gentry, Mo.

At 8:30 o'clock the bridal couple took their places in the parlor beneath a bower of roses, and smilax, where the impressive ceremony which united their lives was performed by Rev. W.H. Ilsley, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Leon.

After congratulations the guests repaired to the dining room where a dainty wedding breakfast was served. The tables were tastefully decorated with roses and smilax.

The bride was gowned in a beautiful pink silk fantasia and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The groom wore the conventional black.

The bride is one of Davis City's bright and attractive young ladies, and although she will be greatly missed by her large circle of friends there, her social qualifications will win for her a host of friends in her new home.

The groom is well and favorably known by the people of this community, having been located here as a practicing physician for the past two years and recently removed to Gentry, Mo., where they will be at home to their many friends after June lst.

The guests from abroad were Miss E. W. Bowman, Chicago, Ill; Mrs. Frank Grimes and Aubrey Grimes, Beatrice, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Bowman and son Louis, King City, Mo.; Miss Grace Horner, Lamoni, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Brown and son Neil; Dr. and Mrs. F.A. Bowman; Miss Josie Bowman and Mr. Wm. Bowman, of Leon, and J.F. Duff and son Boise, Princeton, Mo.
