A HAPPY WEDDING.

One of the quietest and happy little weddings that has taken place in the city for a long time, was that yesterday at the REVERE house in which miss Elizabeth DAWE, daughter of Mr. B. DUWE, was married to Mr. Alvin GATES. Only a few friends of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Stephen PHELPS, of the First Presbyterian church.

The bride looked charming in a tan colored silk with empire skirt, and basque with deep Spanish bretelles(?). She wore a beautiful boquet of white roses and carried a swansdown fan.

The bridegroom wore the conventional suit of black. Mr. GATES is one of the popular conductors on the Council Bluffs and Omaha motor line.

A number of valuable presents were received by the happy couple. They go to housekeeping at once at 2023 Avenue A.

The Nonpareil joins with many friends in wishing them a long life.
