A pretty wedding was solemnized on Wednesday, March l6th, at the home of MR. and MRS. GEORGE BLAKESLEY, a sister of the bride, the contracting parties being MR. ELBA DALE and MISS GRACE POOLE. At the appointed hour the couple entered the parlor, ushered by the wedding march played by Mrs. Etta Clark, and took their places under a beautifully decorated archway, where they were met by the Rev. Cyrus Devoe who performed the ceremony in the presence of a few of the most intimate friends and relatives. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the dining room, where a sumptuous wedding supper was served. The bride wore a pretty costume of gray silk serge, tastefully trimmed in white silk, overlace and medallions.
The bride is the youngest daughter of MRS. MARGARET POOLE, and for the last few years has been one of Decatur County's best school teachers. Educated, refined and possessing those accomplished social graces which go to make the perfect home. The groom is the son of MR. and MRS. S.A. DALE, of Hamilton Township. He is a young man of excellent character, a prosperous farmer and enjoys the confidence and respect of his friends. May their union never be marred by dark clouds of sorrow is the sincere wish of their many friends.
