WEDDING BELLS.

Thursday Oct. the 18th over one hundred relatives and friends assembled at the home of Mr. and Mrs. DAILEY, seven miles southwest of Lamoni, Iowa, to witness the marriage of their daughter Miss Lillie DAILEY to Mr. Hanniba GRAHAM. The house though large was too small to hold the many gathered to witness the ceremony which took place in the beautiful maple grove in front of the house. Promptly at 3 o'clock the young couple made their appearance on the veranda accompanied by Ellsworth GRAHAM brother of the groom and Miss Dollie MULL a relative of the bride.

Miss Lillie is a beautiful young lady, modest, unassuming, making friends of all. A daughter worthy of such loving parents.

Mr. GRAHAM is a perfect specimen of American manhood, six feet four inches, the son of an old soldier. Well may the father and mother be proud of such a son.

After some appropriate remarks the Rev. J. M. BOOTH of the Christian Church of Albany, Mo. pronounced the words which made them man and wife.

After a short prayer by Judge ALLEN of Eagleville, Mo., supper was announced. O such a supper! Language faileth us. We got right down to business; forgot the hard times, Free Cornage of Silver, etc., etc. When we came to ourselves we remembered others were waiting on us.

At a late hour we wended our way homeward, leaving the young folks in the further enjoyment of the occasion. All left wishing the happy couple a pleasant journey through life.

To partly indicate the esteem in which they were held, we append a list of the presents:

FLEET, napkins and table cloth; Mrs. Della RHONE, picture; Miss Annie DAILEY, easel; Judge and Mrs. ALLEN, throw; Mrs. Dollie MULL, set glass dishes; Mr. and Mrs. DAILEY, bed room set; Vin, Aunie and Jennie SHACKELTON, water set; Mr. and Mrs. GRAHAM, Rocking chair; Asther and Fannie GRENAWALT, lamp; Mr. George LASWELL, castor; Miss Mable MEDSKER, cream pitcher; Miss Alice DAVIS, fruit dish; Miss Cassie YOUNG, sauce dish; Hannah, John and Bessie RILEY, glass tea set; Mary RAY, bread plate; Nancy HOLLAND, pickle dish; Ida YOUNG, bread plate; Nora and Ella BOOTH, fruit dish; Ella WISER, berry dish; Mr. and Mrs. TRAXLER, set smoothing irons; Masthy YOUNG, butter knife; Edwin YOUNG, pair of towels; Rose and Sally PERRY, pair of towels; Mr. and Mrs. BOOTH, set of plates.
