MARRIED.

CUMMINS-STEDMAN. - At the home of the bride's parents, Elder E. A. STEDMAN and wife, Lamoni, Iowa, Wednesday, July 28, 1897, at 11 a.m., Elder Heman C. SMITH officiating, Professor J. E. CUMMINS, of Leon, Iowa, to Miss Ruby STEDMAN of Lamoni, Iowa.

Prof. CUMMINS is now and has been for nearly two years, Superintendent of schools in Decatur county, Iowa, which position he has filled with credit. Miss STEDMAN has occupied a position in the Lamoni Public Schools for years, and has also taught in other localities.

An abundant feast was partaken of by a select gathering of about fifteen relatives and friends.

The happy couple left for the celebrated Iowa summer resort near Spirit Lake on the train yesterday.
