On Feb. l2th, l902, at the home of MR. and MRS. Z. GORE occurred the marriage of MR. M.L. COZAD to MISS BIRDIE GORE. Promptly at 5 o'clock the bridal party marched into the parlor where Rev. Dyer, in a short but impressive manner, pronounced them man and wife. NELLIE DALE acted as bridesmaid and WILL ROBERTS as groomsman. The bride was attired in a beautiful drab suit trimmed in white silk and ribbon. The groom wore the conventional black. Only the relatives of the bride and groom were present.
After congratulations they were invited into the dining room where an elegant supper had been prepared to which all did ample justice. They were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents. They will go to housekeeping at once on their farm in Morgan Township. May their voyage over the sea of life be a long and happy one.
