MR. JAMES BUTCHER, of Leon, and MISS HARRIETT J. RICHARDSON, daughter of MRS. MARCIA RICHARDSON, of near Leon, were united in marriage Wednesday afternoon of last week at Osceola, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Leroy Munyon, Pastor of the Osceola Christian Church. The impressive ring ceremony was used. They were accompanied by MISS MERGIE BETHARDS and MR. LELAND RICHARDSON, brother of the bride.
The bride was most charmingly dressed in a blonde colored satin crepe and the groom wore a blue French serge. Following the ceremony the bride and groom returned to the RICHARDSON farm near the city where a three-course supper was served in their honor, a number of guests being present. Everyone knows "JIMMY" BUTCHER. He is most popular with all. He is a hustling young man of fine qualities. The bride is one of Decatur County's most charming and most accomplished young ladies. They will make their home on the RICHARDSON farm.
The Reporter joins their many friends in extending heartiest congratulations and good wishes.
