Ohiowa people will not soon forget the BUCHANAN-MCGRAW wedding. Not because it pretended to be an elaborate affair, nor yet that it was made the occasion for unreasonable expenditures or intemperate display as so often occurs among people who on other occasions, realize the value of money and spent it judiciously. The invited guests were friends of the bride, MISS HANNAH MCGRAW. Many of them had been acquainted with her in her childhood, were present when she graduated, saw her develop into discreet and comely womanhood and felt toward her as one might toward the daughter of his sister or brother. In her all recognized a girl of sterling worth, not a showy girl, but one, unassociated with imprudence and loyal always to the highest ideas of Christian character. It is not surprising that her friends and neighbors should take a keen interest in all that concerned the welfare of such a young lady. Of the bridegroom, MR. A.R. BUCHANAN, we know very little except that he resides at Leon, Iowa where he is cashier of a bank and that he presents the appearance of a bright, intelligent and energetic young man.

Both looked handsome as they stood before Father Bernard who performed the ceremony according to the rites of the Catholic Church.

The repast which followed the congratulations was of a highly satisfying nature, an elegant meal and deeply appreciated. A brother of the bride's mother, MIKE GROGAN, of Woodland, Ia. and MRS. P.F. BRADLEY, of Leon, Ia., an aunt of the bride, witnessed the ceremony. The young people started today for Leon, taking the train at this place accompanied to the depot by a large party of friends and well-wishers.
