Last evening at 6 o'clock, at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. W.R. MOORE in this city, occurred the wedding of their daughter BESSIE MAE to MR. JOHN A. BRYANT, of Osceola, the ceremony being performed by Rev. I.N. Woodward, Pastor of the M.E. Church.
It was a beautiful home wedding, the parlor being decorated with carnations and bridal wreath. As the wedding march was played by Miss Lucy Ilsley, the bridal couple entered and took their places under a canopy of carnations and bridal wreath, and the words were soon spoken which united them for life.
The bride looked charming in a beautiful white silk mull costume. She is one of Leon's most popular and accomplished young ladies, and for several years one of the most successful teachers, having been employed at and near Weldon since she graduated from the Leon High School a few years ago.
The groom is one of the popular young business men of Osceola, who is connected with the Lewis Mercantile Co., and was formerly in business at Grand River. He is a young man of sterling integrity and business ability.
Following the ceremony a wedding repast was served, and the happy young couple left on the evening train for Osceola where they will go to housekeeping at once, followed by the well wishes of many friends in this city.
The out of town guests were: Miss Maude Bryant, Osceola; Miss Mayme Remick, Jefferson; Miss Adaline Hoadley, Garden Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wood and little daughter, and Mr. Mansel Abercrombie, Weldon; Miss Pearl Power, Greenfield.
