MR. C.G. AKERS, of St. Joe, and MISS IDA GIBSON, daughter of MR. and MRS. WM. GIBSON who reside near Crown, were quietly married at the home of the bride's parents, on last Thursday evening, the ceremony being performed by Elder Wm. Kob, in the presence of the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends. After the ceremony a bounteous wedding repast was served.

The groom is a promising young business man of St. Joe, being employed as salesman in a large shoe store, and is an industrious and exemplary young man. The bride is well known in this vicinity where she was born and raised and graduated from the Leon High School. She is an amiable young lady who enjoys the respect and esteem of a large circle of friends.

The happy couple left Saturday for St. Joe, where they will make their future home, being followed by the best wishes of many friends in this county, who wish them wealth, happiness and long life.
