Palmer - Foland.

On Sunday evening, Feb. 23rd, at 6 o'clock occurred the marriage of Miss Esther Foland and Mr. Ralph Palmer at the home of Rev. E. C. Vanderpool. They were attended by Mr. Homer Foland and Miss Pearl Brannon (sic, should be Pearle Bramon). The bride was dressed in a beautiful gown of grey crepe over lavender silk and the groom wore a blue serge.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Foland, Sr., and is a highly accomplished young lady. The groom is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Palmer and has recently been mustered out of Co. K., 87th Infantry [World War I], and needs no words of praise. These young people were born and raised in this community and have a large number of friends who extend congratulations and best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity as they travel life's pathway together.
