Decatur County Journal
March l7, l892

The residence of GEO. T. YOUNG was the scene of wedding festivities last
evening.  It was the marriage of his daughter, LULU to FRANK E.
THOMPSON.  REV. S. OLLERENSHAW, of the Presbyterian Church conducted the
ceremony in his usual happy and impressive manner at 8 o'clock.  There
were but few invitations extended except to the relatives of the
families.

The wedding march was rendered on the piano by HARRIET YOUNG.

An elegant reception supper for the guests followed the ceremony.

The bride looked charming in a dress of pale lemon silk princess.

MISS LULU is an accomplished lady, with that amiable disposition and
character which has made her a foremost figure in society circles of
this place, and is a daughter of one of our most highly respected
citizens.

The groom, MR. THOMPSON, is a member of the new firm of Young &
Thompson, and for ten years was employed in the Farmers & Traders Bank,
and had by strict attention to his duties been promoted to assistant
cashier.  He has, by his courteous and genial manner, won a large circle
of friends, who will read the announcement of his marriage with
pleasure.

They were the recipients of many very beautiful and costly presents.
