Decatur County JournalWednesday evening, June l5th at 8 o'clock at the residence of MR. and
MRS. C.H. CHAPMAN in Grand River, Iowa, occurred the marriage of their
daughter, MAUDE, to HENRY BINNING, JR., of the same place; REV. DUNN
of
the Methodist Church of Grand River, officiating. The ceremony
was
followed by a sumptuous repast and music. L.A. BINNING and MISS
MAY
BINNING were the attendants.
The bride was dressed in light tan sirge, trimmed with lace of the same
shade and ornamented with lemon lillies. She carried a fan of
delicate
cream colored feathers. The bridesmaid was attired in white,
trimmed
with pearl and wore Marshal Nell roses. She carried an exquisite
fan of
white satin and ivory.
The bride is the daughter of one of the first settlers of Grand River,
while the groom is one of Grand River's most enterprising young men
and
of the firm of Binning Bros.
There were about forty present at the ceremony and many useful and
valuable presents were received. The many friends of MR. and
MRS.
BINNING wish them a long, happy and prosperous life.
