The past week has been an eventful one in our little city, bringing
sorrow to many and pleasure to a few.  One was the marriage of GEORGE
FRANKLIN to MISS ALLIE DOSS.  The ceremony took place at the residence
of the groom's parents in this city, October 25th.  A large number of
friends and relatives were present to witness the happy event, and all
join in wishing the young couple a joyous and happy future, and may the
evening of their life be as calm and serene as the morning is bright and
joyous is the wish of their many friends.
