At 8 p.m. the joyful strains of Lowell's band march, played by PROF.
A.E. MILLER, sounded through the parlors, when the groom and bride
appeared, MR. SAM. GRAYSON being the groom's righthand man and MISS
EVA
GARRETT bridesmaid. The bridegroom and bride were both elegantly
attired--the latter in cream-colored silk. BRO. W.E. JONES, of
the
Christian Church, tied the nuptial knot with the beautiful and
impressive marriage ceremony of his church.
Congratulations were now extended to the happy pair, after which J.W.
SNAVELY presented the presents - tokens of respect and esteem of the
assembled friends. After the presentation, the wedding feast
was
announced. We must say that for bounteous plenty and unexcelled
variety
and preparation, this feast has never been equalled in our experience.
High carnival and joy ranged around the festal board until a late hour,
when each to their several homes returned, after wishing a long and
prosperous life to the newly wedded couple.
NGERSPER.
