After the ceremony, the guests partook of a sumptuous dinner, such as
can be prepared only by skillful hands.
The following day, the happy couple repaired to the residence of the
groom's sister, MRS. A GARDNER; the day being also the sixteenth
anniversary of the marriage of MR. A. GARDNER and wife. An excellent
dinner was served which gave great credit to the worthy hostess.
About
fifty were present. All enjoyed themselves immensely, and unite
in
wishing the bride and groom all happiness attainable, and also wish
many
happy returns of the day to MR. GARDNER and wife. Happiness and
prosperity attend both parties, says the writer.
