MARRIED--At the residence of the bride's parents on Wednesday, March
3,
by D.W. ROBINSON, J.P., MR. JOHN C. FIERCE to MISS MINNIE BROWN, both
of
Decatur County.
At the appointed hour, l o'clock p.m., the door of the parlor was thrown
open and FRANK W. KINTIGH and MISS MOLLIE FIERCE entered, followed
by
the bride and groom. MR. ROBINSON then stepped forward and in
a few
words, pronounced them husband and wife. The congratulations
were then
offered and after a short social season, dinner was announced.
The
table fairly groaned under its load of good things, to which we all
did
ample justice. The table was presided over by MISS IDA FISHER
and MISS
CORA BROWN. The groom is one of Decatur County's most industrious
young
men. To the bride, too much praise cannot be given, therefore
we will
not make an effort to point out her good qualities, but will say that
she ranks among the first of Decatur's best girls.
The following day an infare dinner was given by the groom's father,
E.W.
FIERCE, some forty persons tasted of the good things that were on the
table. Below will be found a list of presents received which
we are
permitted to publish:
