MARRIED:--At the residence of the bride's parents, March 7th, l886, MR.
WILLIAM GOODMAN to MISS MARGARET I. SNAVELY, REV. S.A. GARBER,
officiating.

Although the morning dawned gloomily with lowering clouds and falling
snow, yet some twenty or more of the friends and relatives assembled,
despite the threatening aspect of the weather, to witness the nuptial
ceremonies.  As the appointed hour drew near, the door of an adjoining
room opened and the bridal couple appeared preceeded by the groomsman
and bridesmaid, MR. ISAAC MCDONOUGH and MISS RACHEL WOODMANSEE. Exactly
as the hour of l2 was proclaimed by the clock, REV. S.A. GARBER arose
and in a brief yet very impressive ceremony, pronounced the happy couple
man and wife.

Warm congratulations were then extended by all present and the guests
were next invited to the dining room where they found tables loaded to
their utmost capacity with the most tempting viands.  To describe the
luxuries of this sumptuous repast would be a task to which we are
altogether inadequate; suffice to say, it was such as would have done
credit to a king.

Dinner being over, the guests returned to the parlor, where they
beguiled the time with social converse and music, till towards evening,
when they dispersed, each one feeling as though the occasion thus
enjoyed would ever retain a bright place in his memory.

The groom is one of Decatur County's most promising young farmers having
already established an enviable reputation in that business.  The bride
is a  model young lady, being amiable, intellectual and prepossessing in
appearance.  The future home of the newly wedded pair will be near Van
Wert, where the groom has a good farm together with a sufficiency of
this world's goods to make life comfortable and happy.  Thus they embark
on life's voyage with bright prospects and the best wishes of a large
circle of enthusiastic friends.
